Bayfield Regional Conservancy
Job Announcement

Outreach Assistant
Lake Superior Landscape Restoration Partnership

Location: Bayfield, WI, 54814

Background:
In 2014, the Natural Resources Conservation Service and the US Forest
Service designated 13 sites around the country as part of their Joint
Chiefs’ Landscape Restoration Partnership to work across traditional
boundaries and restore the health of the forests and watersheds on
public and private lands. The Lake Superior Basin in Wisconsin was
selected as one of these 13 sites based on the strong local partnerships
already in place. Made up of many private and public non-profit
organizations and agencies, the Lake Superior Landscape Restoration
Partnership was formed to protect the natural resource benefits provided
by the forests and waters of the four counties that make up the Lake
Superior Basin: Bayfield, Ashland, Douglas, and Iron.
