Hi,

I am in the process of designing my own Ecology course for a group of ~20 high
school
seniors at an independent school in Queens, NY. I am in need of curriculum
direction, so
if anybody on the listserv can recommend age-appropriate texts, syllabi, or
curriculum
suggestions, I am all ears! I worry that university-level ecology materials
may be a bit
too far advanced for my students, so I'm looking for something a bit lighter
and less
formal.

I would like the course to encompass behavioral components of ecology and have
at
least a few projects. Students will enter the course having taken 3 years of
high school
math (some with calculus, some with only pre-calculus), as well as biology,
chemistry,
and physics. The course will only last 1 semester (for now) as well.

Best regards,

Ben
