Ecological Society of America's Centennial Writing Contest: The
Future of Ecology 2065. Applicants are invited to imagine, in up to
800 words, what ecology might look like fifty years from now. Winning
essays will be edited and published in the June issue of Frontiers in
Ecology and the Environment, and there are cash prizes of $150 prize
for the winning entry, $100 for honorable mention. The submission
deadline is March 27. The contest is open to all ESA members. Please
