Through hands-on experience in field techniques to the logistics of business operations,these intensive short courses offer comprehensive training applicable to all students interested in land management. When and where will these courses take place? --June 22nd-July 2nd-- ASCI 470 - Sustainable Rangeland Management --July 6th - July 31st-- NR 475 - Sustainable Forestry and Environmental Practices --August 10th - August 21st BIO 470 - Field Methods in Wildlife Ecology The courses are held at Cal Poly's Swanton Pacific Ranch (www.spranch.calpoly.edu), located in Davenport, California. Participants will learn through operations taking place on this 3,200-acre property.
