Cardno is an ASX-200 professional infrastructure and environmental

of physical and social infrastructure for communities around the world.
Cardno is seeking a Staff Scientist in our Sacramento, CA office to
work with a multidisciplinary team of accomplished biologists,
planners, hydrologists, geologists, and engineers on a variety of
projects in California and the western United States.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Field survey team member to support various terrestrial (wildlife
and botanical) and aquatic field surveys
> Assist with project research
> Assist with report writing
> Assist with data entry, compilation, analyses and presentations
Basic Qualifications:
> Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, natural resource
management, planning or related field
> Botanical and wetland delineation experience, with terrestrial
and/or aquatic survey experience preferred
> Knowledge of, and experience with, California flora and
wildlife/avian species and habitats
> Excellent oral and written communication skills
> Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office Excel
> Willing and able to travel to field sites and other Cardno office locations
> Ability to work well independently and with a diverse,
multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced, team oriented work environment
> Strong time management and follow-through skills, with the ability
to simultaneously work on multiple tasks/projects and meet project deadlines
> Self-motivated with strong initiative
> Detail oriented and resourceful
> Must work in Sacramento office
> Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
