Arctic Marine Ecologist Job Announcement
The Arctic Marine Ecologist will support Audubon's conservation science initiatives in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea. Working in close collaboration with the Arctic Spatial Ecologist and Director of Conservation Science, the Ecologist will support the publication of a geospatial synthesis database, an ecological atlas, and an Arctic Marine Synthesis report. The ecologist will apply knowledge of Alaska and marine ecosystems to perform scientific research, identify suitable data, and work with agency, academic, and other experts to access data, including partners in Canada and Russia. This is a two-year, grant funded position to create an integrated Arctic marine atlas of the Bering, Chukchi, and Beaufort seas, including U.S., Canadian, and Russian waters.
