My former master's advisor, Rob Channell, has openings for 2-4 masters
students interested in biogeography, large-scale ecology (landscape ecology
or macroecology), or conservation planning.available in his research group
at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas, starting Fall 2016.

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to
obtain a terminal master's degree, in preparation for a career in wildlife
conservation or management, as well as gaining skills and research
experience for later pursuing a doctoral degree. Getting a MS degree at a
primarily undergraduate institution like Fort Hays means that there is a lot
of opportunity for faculty-student interaction, as well as strong cohesion
between graduate students with a wide range of interests.

If interested, contact Dr. Rob Channell at [email protected] or
[email protected].
