Along with approximately 35 other academicians at five different universities in Colorado, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, I conduct policy research affiliated with the Bioenergy Alliance Network of the Rockies (BANR), a multidisciplinary research consortium in the northern Rocky Mountain Region funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (Competitive Grant no. 2013-68005-21298). My objective is to gauge public attitudes on whether utilizing woody biomass (obtained from fuels reduction treatments) to produce renewable biofuel could also function as a feasible means of helping restore forest health and resilience on the National Forest System. A web-based survey, found here http://www.evergreenmagazine.com/ under 'Latest Posts', is being used to collect data. Your participation in the survey would be appreciated.
