Hello all, I’m looking for pre-existing landcover data of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, specifically of Nakuru County. I’ve had a little trouble finding what I need, since (from what I understand) Africa isn’t as well mapped as western countries. If you guys have any pointers on where you think I should look, I would really appreciate any tips you might have.
I’m looking for mapping done in 1999, 2010, and/or 2014 in particular, although really any year would be helpful. In addition, if anyone knows where to get satellite images of the same area taken in the late 1990s (1997-1999), I would really appreciate that as well. Those would be incredibly helpful in case I run into a wall looking for preexisting landcover data. Thank you all so much. Have a wonderful day!
