Last week I had a guest column in my local paper, detailing how a state
conservation agency dragged out my FOIA request for several months and
ultimately dropped it.
I'd be interested in hearing if anyone in other states has had a similar
experience, and whether agencies in other states are equally content to violate
FOIA laws with impunity. I'd also be glad to hear from researchers working in
other countries with comparable open-records laws.
