Dear Ecologists:
Consider attending the**2016 AmeriFlux PI Meeting
<http://ameriflux.lbl.gov/community/ameriflux-meetings-workshops/> next
month, from 9/21 through 9/23, in Golden, Colorado, 40 minutes from the
Denver Airport. All researchers with interests in generating and/or
using mass and energy flux data are welcome to attend. The small meeting
size, broadly represented spread of disciplines from ecology to
micrometeorology, array of breakout sessions, and informal meeting time
offer excellent opportunities to explore new research collaborations and
expand your research network. The meeting will feature a variety of
guest speakers, and include demonstrations of state-of-the-art sensors
and gear.
Register (by 9/9/16) and reserve lodging (by 8/30/16), and view the
meeting agenda at the AmeriFlux Meetings and Workshops
<http://ameriflux.lbl.gov/community/ameriflux-meetings-workshops/> webpage.
Submit an abstract for a talk or poster here:
https://goo.gl/forms/GKj87EhEkwXF39cf1. Note also that the AmeriFlux
Data and Tech Workshop (free!) takes place immediately before the PI
meeting, so you can go to both. Info on the same webpage.
Please contact Chris Gough, co-organizer, if you have questions.
Best to all, and hope to see you next month in Colorado,
Chris, on behalf of fellow organizers Jingfeng Xiao, Bill Munger,
Margaret Torn, and Trevor Keenan
