Assistant Professor of Biology, Miami University (new deadline) Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Global Change Biology to start August 2017. We seek candidates who examine consequences of global environmental change at molecular, physiological, community, or ecosystem levels. We are especially interested in candidates who will complement our departmental strengths in physiology, ecology, evolution, and conservation biology, as well as interdepartmental strengths in environmental science.
The successful candidate will teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, maintain an active research program, and provide service to the institution. Teaching may include introductory biology for majors, environmental biology for non-majors, global change biology, ecology, and advanced courses in the individual's area of specialty. Required: Ph.D. in biology, ecology, or a related field. Consideration will be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience, and demonstrated commitment to developing an externally funded research program and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
