The University of California, Davis is excited to announce a new Master of Science in Environmental Policy and Management (epm.ucdavis.edu<http://epm.ucdavis.edu>) degree program at the John Muir Institute of the Environment. We are now accepting applications for students to start in the Fall of 2017.
We're distributing this announcement for two reasons. First, we ask that you will help spread the word to interested students. Second, EPM students will be conducting policy analysis on projects originating from partner agencies and institutions — we therefore encourage you to partner with us to match the skill and effort of our students with your pressing environmental policy analysis needs. The EPM program focuses on the application of environmental science to real-world environmental policy and management issues. UC Davis provides an ideal setting for this pursuit as one of the world’s strongest campuses in environmental research and science. Individuals with scientific and engineering backgrounds who seek applied professional careers in environmental policy and management are especially encouraged to apply. The availability of an accelerated one-year programmakes EPM an ideal option for early and mid-career professionals. Visit the EPM website (epm.ucdavvis.edu<http://epm.ucdavvis.edu>) for details on applying to the program. Note that the priority application deadline is January 15, 2017. If you have current environmental policy research needs in your organization that could benefit from the dedicated attention of our faculty and trainees, please contact us at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> to start the conversation.
