The Citizen Science Association's upcoming biennial CSA conference is in St Paul, MN, May 17-20 2017. Scholarship funds are available for travel. All relevant funding needs will be considered, including travel, lodging, registration. That said, with a relatively small amount of funds, priority is given to providing small scholarships distributed in a way to enable as large and as diverse a group to attend as is possible.
The Citizen Science Association especially encourages applications from people who are interested in catalyzing citizen science outside the US and those building connections to organizations that can be allies in co-creating community science. Applications are due MONDAY, Feb 20th. Please share with your networks, tap individuals you think should apply and get those applications in! We are hoping to get the word out beyond the typical academic and agency circles! More information about Scholarship Applications is available on the Conference website in the Conference Registration section. http://citizenscience.org/association/conferences/citsci2017/ Best wishes, Sarah Sarah Newman | CarbonTime Project Support | CitSci.org Community Engagement Strategist Hours: Mon 9-5, Wed/Fri 9-3 MT Natural Resources Ecology Lab Colorado State University [email protected]
