LUMCON is offering some amazing teacher workshops this summer! All our teacher workshops focus on skill building and are place-based.
If you love the Gulf Coast or even just always wanted to learn more about it, these workshops are for you! - In May we are offering "Classrooms in Motion". A workshop designed to teach you how to make videos that can be used in the classroom using the backdrop of Southeast Louisiana. Increase student engagement with topics through the art of movie making making. - In June we are hosting our 10th "From H-2-O" workshop. This is a Bayouside Classroom training program. Use a citizen scientist model to have your students monitor water quality right in your school yard. - In July we will have "Ship Time & Shoreline". Where teacher get to flex their science muscles as they become the scientists investigating questions about the dynamic and susceptible Louisiana coast.
