Call for a Joint Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in the Faculty of Life Sciences and the Porter School of Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University
The George S. Wise Faculty of Life Sciences and the Porter School of Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University invite applicants for a joint tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Senior Lecturer/Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Positions are available from the beginning of October 2018. We are looking for excellent faculty members in all areas of Environmental Biology, and who internalize the concept of interdisciplinary and environmental research. Our search is open to all fields in Environmental Biology, including the following specific subjects: * Biofuels; * Biogeochemical Cycles; * Biomimicry; * Biotic changes in relation to Climate Change; * Eco-Biotechnology; * Ecology; * Food security; * Plant Ecophysiology; * Soil-plant-atmosphere interactions Individuals possessing a Ph.D., with two or more years of postdoctoral experience and a strong publication record, are encouraged to apply. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in research and a strong potential for developing an independent, interdisciplinary research program, and for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative external funding. A successful applicant will be expected to share our commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education. Successful candidates will teach courses in Hebrew.
