The HART Lab in the School of the Environment at Washington State University has openings and support for 1-2 graduate students beginning in Fall 2018. Potential projects include the study of disturbance interactions, landscape-scale study of wildfire-vegetation feedbacks, and forest disturbance effects on ecosystem services (e.g. habitat quality, water supply). The successful candidate will have a background in ecology, forestry, geography or a related field. Preferred qualifications also include a background in geospatial science, field ecology, and computer programming. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
