The Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans  (
http://cedo.org) is looking for a bilingual (Spanish-English) leader with
experience in conservation and coastal marine systems and fisheries
management to work as Associate Director of Conservation and Integrated
Management Programs in Mexico.

The mission of CEDO is to foster vibrant communities and resilient
ecosystems in the Northern Gulf of California and other ecoregion by
integrating people, knowledge, and solutions. CEDO achieves its mission
through two regional programs supported by transversal programs in
education, research and monitoring.

The Associate Director will work in coordination with the Executive
Director and the Coordinators of different programs to define integrated
management strategies and objectives. He/she will monitor the development
of the annual work plans with the CEDO program team, ensuring that they
fulfill the mission of our organization, and align with the technical and
financial commitments as well as national and international strategies on
related themes, and will coordinate participatory processes for the
definition of indicators of socio-economic and conservation impact.
