The Entomology Graduate Program at Clemson University is offering a four-year fellowship to an outstanding applicant to the Ph.D. program in Entomology. The Carl & Ruby Nettles Memorial Fellowship Fellowship will provide $25,000 per year in support, in addition to a tuition waiver. The fellowship will be reviewed annually, with renewal contingent upon the student’s satisfactory progress (as attested by his or her dissertation committee, and having met benchmarks for progress through degree program requirements), and by maintaining a 3.0 or greater GPA.
Eligibility and application: · Applicants must have received a Master’s degree in Entomology, or a closely related field, and otherwise fulfill all requirements for entry into the Ph.D. program in Entomology: (https://www.clemson.edu/graduate/academics/program-details.html? m_id=Entomology). · Applicants wishing to be considered for the fellowship must include a one-page prospectus for a doctoral research project briefly describing their research goals, methods and implications, as a separate section within their personal statement.
