Day 1: The first day will be a daylong training session where you can select 2 
of the 4 available training sessions (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) 
on: FERC hydropower licensing, water law concepts for dealing with drought, 
reducing uncertainty in riverine ecosystems during environmental change, or 
handling information in water management issues.
Days 2 and 3 of the workshop involve presentations by internationally 
recognized experts providing examples on the use and need of effective laws, 
policies, science, and public participation to meet water management objectives 
for rivers, reservoirs, and lakes under drought conditions.
The invited speakers were chosen after an extensive search by the program 
committee and workshop advisors. The four sessions on days 2 and 3 cover Legal, 
Institutional, Technical, and Public Involvement issues and culminate with

Collins Hotel. A block of rooms has been reserved for April 22, 2018 - April 
27, 2018. The special $109 room rate will be available until March 30th or
