The Schmid College of Science and Technology at Chapman University (Orange 
County, California) invites applications for postdoctoral teaching and research 
fellows in our Grand Challenges Initiative. Appointments will begin in summer 
2019; initial appointments are for one year with a two-year extension upon 
mutual agreement. Fellows are outstanding early-career scientists who provide 
facilitate project-based learning that provides foundational skills to 
undergraduate students in our Grand Challenges Initiative 
(http://www.chapman.edu/GCI), as well as advance independent research in 
collaboration with a member of the faculty. Fellows are offered a competitive
