Eric, That is a good summary. My Time example had some holes
and the data really needs to be taken over a year, not
just one issue. It is like you say, TIME is a mirror of
society. The mirror is warped a little due to keeping
advertisers happy and entertaining readers, but it is still a
good mirror.
One person who talks about these questions of bias and
cultural immersion made the list of great thinkers. If anyone
has this issue look up Noam Chomsky and see what they say.
Time does not like him.
Regarding the topic of Deep Ecology, chalk up one vote for
me. I need to do some reading in that area and any
information would be interesting.
