Hi,
Jeff you sure are something:)

Sometimes you can take a simple( he he) subject and immediately relate it to
ever larger problems, concerns, and philosophy. Fascinating
stuff...especially because many of us are most sympathetic to your ideas.

But there is a lot of conflict in trying to deal with real world solutions!

In many of today's more tightly wrapped, highly insulated homes you need to
provide for better air circulation and whole house air changes. In fact it is
recommended that there be a minimum of .035 air changes per hour( ASHRAE
standard)

Concerns over indoor pollutants are well noted...and I believe should also be
planned for. I'd like to have a healthy home as well as natural, energy
efficiemnt home.

Unfortunately due to cost , availability etc. you can't have it all.

In the old days buildings were so leaky you didn't have to worry about air
changes. he he.

I plan to have plenty of indoor plants anyway...and will try and select some
of the species you are talking about.

This whole business though about air cleaners, air filters , ionizers etc. is
a bit confusing. Lots of hype too little real hard data, specs. etc.

Like you I am appalled at how little product information is given in many
catalogs.
How the heck are you supposed to make an informed decision.

I'd sure like to hear more about specific equipment, and recommendations on
filters, cleaners etc.

BYe for now. Frank
