Jeff thanks for posting this. I too am aware of Nick Pine's solar closet
concept.
However the math and calculations are beyond me. I'm willing to try any such
system that offers promise. Just need to be sure it works, and that the
distribution method is capable of maintaining a comfortable temperature
throughout the house.
My idea is similar to Nick's except that the passive solar room/closet is
much bigger, and the R factor greater than that odf unglazed glass.
Has anybody tried, or heard of anyone who has tried this design? Does it
work? Would they recommend it?
Can you heat a 1600 sq ft house that way , or must you design a tiny house
for it to work.?
Nick I know is very well regarded, and seems to have lots of neat ideas.
