I can add a little more information on sealing concrete
foundations. Called a contractor who suggested some of the
following:
1. Bentonite (a waterproof clay)
Oh this is funny. This clay is used internally by some MCSers. I've never
used it because I can tolerate activated charcoal. Both these things are
used to trap and remove toxins in the intestional tracts. Whenever you
detox (which includes when you get an exposure) much of the crud is dumped
into your intestions. If you don't soak it up, it will go back into your
body's tissues and re-expose you.
I didn't know bentonite had applications as building material too!
Of course, the internal kind is probably more refined than the building
material, and the building material may have additives.
