During the last two weeks the number of people subscribed to
ecopath grew from 48 to 53.

A few people left after my post about Permaculture education.
I assume this topic has some strong feelings attached.
Possibly my views were incorrect, it is difficult to be sure.
We all have holes in our visions for the future and hopefully
sharing is worth more than the risk of offending.

The web page was updated with a few more links and the link
to the archives fixed. One of the new links is to ATTRA
which has a good discussion of Permaculture.

I've been posting one or two messages per day for a year now
and have a large database of old essays and ideas about
sustainability. It might interest new subscribers to recycle
some of this material. I'm not sure... It also might be
interesting to walk through the Permaculture Design Manual
and post an analysis of each section. If anyone has thoughts
on this or wants another topic mutilated by my perverse logic
then yell. Of course, other viewpoints and topics are
welcome additions (diversity is a benifit).

Thanks to Kerry Miller for sending interesting material for
inclusion on the list.

The scope of the list (what topics fit) has caused confusion
in the past, so here is a brief summary. The tests i use
go something like this:

 1. Ideas individuals can incorporate into their lives.
This can be models of the future, daily activities,
useful viewpoints (usually related to ethics or
    philosophy) and tools.

 2. Ideas should be related to ecology or sustainability.
This can be anything that moves us one step closer
to a sustainable world. Of course, the ideas are
relative to our starting point and it is the "step"
    that is important.

 3. Descriptions of what someone is doing, has done, or
    plans to do.
Generally, personal experience is valued more highly
than opinion, cultural rules, stories about others,
    etc.
