A few people have joined Ecopath in the last
month so now is probably a good time to talk
about its current state.
Those getting the Egroups version will also
get occasional spam. If you want to avoid
this switch to the CSF list. I will be glad
to do this if you want.
This list was originally intended for discussions
about hands on sustainable living but now the scope
is about anything related to ecology. It is
unmoderated and the content is determined by
the posts we make.
I use this list in my own education by posting
notes about the things i read or do. Sometimes
this gives me a little added incentive to look
deeper or think about how an idea fits in other
locations. The occasional feedback also is
useful in testing or recognizing bias.
There is an archive and a long forgotten web
page (see signature). If anyone has ideas for
improvements (besides improving my writing skills
or shutting up <grin>) then please share. Here
are some of my ideas:
* Encourage others to join and increase the
discussion level.
* Think about ways the list could be more
useful.
* Create a list poll to test the lists
attitude about various ideas.
* Discuss a days activities and future
plans.
That's it. The rain has finally stopped here and
i'm off to fix gates and battle slugs. -jeff
