I ate a few cicadas on a bet back during the last cicada cycle here in
1988.

Quite crunchy, and not a bad flavor. Reminded me of water chestnuts.
Probably would add some texture to any soft, pasta type dish - like
chinese...

Assuming the lotus position now. Hummmmmmmmmm. Hummmmmmmmmm.
