But for the winters we might be neighbors. I was born in Beloit, during my
last three years of high school we lived on a farm in Marquette County. I
loved it, still love Wisconsin, but prefer this four seasons/mild winters
climate and much prefer this sparse population. Southwest Wisconsin is also
a special place but the location between the Twin Cities, Chicago and Des
Moines and Davenport makes it attractive to yuppers who want a place in the
country, so it is doomed.
