On NPR's Fresh Air yesterday was an interview of the editor of salon.com.
He said that the Henry Hyde sex-affair story had been offered to and
rejected by forty or fifty editors before he got it and decided to run it.
The good news is that after he ran it he lost only one advertiser in spite
of a massive effort by Republican party members.
