Paul:
>Maybe this would be a good time for you to explain just what and ecovillage
>is, because I'm a bit confused.
To end your confusion, go to the url I posted and follow the links. No
point in me restating what others more knowledgeable have already made
available.
>I've looked at the web site for Heartwood Hamlet, and it looks to me like
>you're just dividing Heartwood up into overpriced lots so that more people
>can have "individual homes on acreage," with the partial interest in some
>more land.
There are no prices listed, so how do you come to that conclusion?
Paul also sent me the following letter privately:
>Gene, I don't want this to sound like I think it's "Pick on Gene" week.
This time I do know it's going to you, answere back to the list if you
choose to.
>Isn't that book you're making a living from written to encourage people to
move out of the cities and into "home on acreage"?
No. It is not to encourage, it is to inform of conditions and
possibilities. They already have the desire, but not the knowledge. There
are individual chapters that inform about ecovillages, small towns,
subdivisions, subsistence farms. The main encouragement I provide is that
if they follow my pattern they can do it successfully.
Paul, I have no problem with any question about me being asked in public.
No need for private letters unless that is your preference.
As for making a living from my book, that condition is but a dream.
If you have a lot of anything, put it to use helping others.
