I'm still busy setting up a local farmers market and spring planting. It has been a good year on the local front and hopefully everyone is enjoying whatever path stretches ahead.
It has not been a good year for me. This personal vendetta disguised as a holy war is depressing me but it is only a deepening of an existing depression. My last paycheck was in October of 2001 and I have lived on savings since but those ran out last month. After sending out several hundred resumes and only getting three interviews I have come to the conclusion that my age is the major problem. A dead and dyeing economy coupled with an administration that cares only for its own power grab put the finishing touch on my career. I have started custom woodworking but business is very slow. My marriage is failing, we are selling the house, and I am still unemployed, it was not a good year.
