I finished getting the latest persistent file patchset upstream into
the -mm kernel and propagated my changes to the standalone kernel
module. I went ahead and installed a Feisty machine. I currently have
my home directory mounted eCryptfs, using the 2.6.20-16-generic kernel
that ships with Feisty and the full release I just made today:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/ecryptfs/ecryptfs-20070928.tar.bz2

This also contains the fix for the bug that you found when using
Apache.

I am currently building 2.6.22.9 under my eCryptfs home directory
mount; as soon as that completes (which it will, of course!), I will
work on porting the standalone kernel module to work on 2.6.22.
