What does `which mount.ecryptfs` output? I'm guessing /usr/local/sbin/mount.ecryptfs If so, mount.ecryptfs needs to be in the /sbin/ folder. Rebuild ecryptfs-utils with `./configure --prefix=/usr` and that will fix things. Also, it looks like there is an ecryptfs-utils package in the Ubuntu repos. It is probably worth a shot, too.
