For the most part the vendors on this list "behave" themselves and most add to the discussion.  But there seems to be a few who harvest the list for business pruproses.  And there are a few that would rather hawk their weres than offer a solution that fits the questions asked.  I have even had a few that contacted me under the guise of commenting on a post I made and then casually ask about my current situation.

I like and want vendor participation as long as they pull their weight.  If you are going to act like a vendor then be prepared to be treated like one.

I don't want to outsource. It supposed to be my job. I'm asking about software.
What software does kleinschmidt use to do the job?

Have you thought of outsourcing your translation?  We here at Kleinschmidt
specialize in taking files, be they flat files, X12, UN/EDIFACT or XML and
translating them into another file format.  This eliminates the problems
that you mention below, plus saves the expense to purchase the software,
maintenance fees and programming expenses.

If you are interested in more information, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your time.
