I would like to introduce EDI to our sites out in Japan this coming year. They
do a lot of business with companies within Japan, and they have an AS/400 and an
ERP package that is all in Japanese. Since the Japanese lanaguage uses a 2 Bit
Character (verses English's 1 bit character) - this has made somethings a lot
harder to implement - like Email.. I am curious to see what it does for EDI.
I believe that in the auto industry - Japan uses the guidelines for JAMA and
JAMAS. Does anyone know of a site reference that I can do some research on so I
enter the world of EDI in Japan with some knowledge and other people experiences
(trial & errors)?
