I wanted to make sure that this made it to the list so part of this message
may be a
duplicate from before.

First of all thank you Mr. Kammerer for your responses though sometimes they
can be for monotonous people like myself.

I have again gone back to our software vendor, Compaq and they have agreed
to allow a change to their code. It will I
guess abide by the standard in that if ISA01 and/or ISA03 are 00 then to
ignore what is in ISA02 and/or ISA04 respectively.

Update----

I have since received a patch to allow this to occur but have not actually
tried it out
and will not until Monday. I must mention here that I have seen some
frustrated list posters for some products but I have always come away from
Compaq regarding EDI with support. Compaq has always been there for
DEC/EDI. I may not like all of the answers but
I do get responses within minutes if not hours of a call for help and for
the most part fixes do work. Compaq really stands behind their product at
least in this case.
