Well, this has certainly been a slow past couple of weeks on EDI-L,
interrupted only by the headhunters. You'd almost have thought that EDI
had died and withered away.

Just to give some hope to you EDI'ers out there, I thought I'd point you
to an article I had written entitled "Is There Still Life Left in That
Old EDI?" My good friend, Claus Loos, was kind enough to alert me that
it had been published in the February issue of CompTIA
(http://www.comptia.org/) Computing Channels Magazine. For those of you
who have misplaced your copy of that issue, the article is also
available at FORESIGHT's home page at http://www.foresightcorp.com/ -
just look under "Breaking News" for "Is There Still Life Left in That
Old EDI?"

For those many fans and competitors who've long wondered what I look
like, the article includes a color photograph of yours truly, taken with
copious amounts of Vaseline added to the photographer's lens to hide the
inevitability of age. The article has the usual abundance of errors
introduced in the long cycles between author, editor and printer, the
most egregious being the identification of me as "Co-owner". I felt
that I was well-entitled to describe myself as "co-founder," being that
I was Employee #2. But the CompTIA editor, disbelieving that one so
youthful could be a "Founder" made me an "Owner" instead.
