For those trading in the automotive sector, the X12 TA1 is used on a
regular
basis by the FORD MOTOR COMPANY.  They use this to indicate that there is a

problem with the ISA of the 997 they received from a trading partner. The
Trading Partner must correct the 997 before FORD will except it.

I have seen it used in a couple of other instances also, but FORD is the
only
one that I have seen who states specifically in their documentation that
they
use it.
