I don't know what I was thinking yesterday. It was suggested to use LIN01 (if given) to make a unique ID. However, the problem with that is I have Multiple QTY & SCC & DTM segments between the LIN so this number does not change when reading the QTY & SCC & DTM information into a Line Item Order. See Below. The problem I am having is when more than one DTM has the exact same date for the QTY being ordered. Such as 20000505 given as a ship date or delivery date on the first two DTM segments. I attempted to just use a counter to increment just before moving the Unique Identifier to the appropriate record before writing the record. This also did not work as the counter must be numeric and the Unique Identifier is an Alpha store field. When trying to join the numeric counter to the Alpha store field, the counter was ignored. Any other suggestions?
