Lorenz,
Could you please clarify the business scenario for the problem ?
Is this order requesting build to order or engineer to order product
( so you create a new part # x and specify its contains parts y and z )
OR
A promotional item where you ask them to pick two items and relabel as a
third.
OR
A quality scenario where you do full batch tracking and only accept items
with approved batches and request a batch on the order.
(William K - I have seen this scenario very rarely)
OR
Something else ?
