Jim,
I have used Gentran:basic, Gentran Unix and Gentran NT. Gentran:basic is no more
limited in it's mapping than Gentran Unix or Gentran NT. I have found very very very
few cases where I had to use a non Gentran process to get around a limitation of the
Gentran:basic mapper. I have also found just as many cases where I had to used not
Gentran process to get around the limitations of Gentran Unix and Gentran NT.
Just one mapper's (with 18 years of mapping) opinion.
