Mastered the subject? Live & Let Live? Doesn't want someone to learn? "Dude", no one, especially me, is perfect. No one knows everything. But I stand by my response, like it or not. If you are not experienced in a product then you should not be "consulting" on that product. Learn the product BEFORE you take on an assignment if you are going to consult. If you are a FT employee who is going to be taking over responsibilities, and your company is too cheap to do training then I can understand these types of questions. If you are getting no good answers from the support lines then I can understand these types of questions. But if you represent yourself as a consultant, a knowledgeable individual worth paying for, then at least know your stuff. You may be great at any number of software packages. Fine. But if I am paying you or your firm $150 an hour, I expect you to know about what I am paying you for. -----Original Message----- From: Justin Nick [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2005 8:36 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [EDI-L] Re: Gentran Server - Interchanges/Indrawer/Outdrawer
