Hi Ron: I have (and currently do) run an AMS data center on an outsourced basis for many years now. USCS EDI requirements are a little quirky. I remember having a discuss about the extra elements with my client service rep way back when about the same thing, but I just checked our system and we are not sending those elements. Customs (DOHS) can be a pain to deal with, but once we got our AMS system (along with MQ) nailed down, it runs lights out.
Sorry I don't have a better answer for you. You working with an Ocean carrier? Trying to get certified for AMS? cjg Carl J.
