Job Description
Heading: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior BSA
in the Operations/Manufacturing area of a growing $1B+ plus company.
This person will serve as the interface between the Operations/
Manufacturing business team and the Oracle development team for B2B
support and project activities, The BSA will be the point of contact
for information regarding the company's system environments and how
these systems support the Operations business processes. He/She will
participate in resolution of issues, validation of Oracle functionality,
and definition of new functionality and support of Oracle Applications
11i in these areas
Responsibilities:
* Provide in-depth systems expertise from both a technical and
functional perspective.
* Serve as a liaison between Superusers, End Users and Integration
and Oracle Technical Teams providing support for functional
questions.
* Provide assistance with development questions and collaborate on
any needed solutions.
* Drive resolution of issues pertaining to B2B and other related
functions of Oracle 11i.
* Interact with the business teams to gather requirements and
develop solutions.
* Operate as an expert to review business requirements, process
designs, solution designs and implementation.
* Participate in testing and release activities.
* Serve as a liaison between the superuser and the application for
testing against defined requirements.
* Create, review and maintain detailed functional and technical
design documents for Oracle 11i in the functional areas supported.
* Coordinate with other Business Systems Analysts in Finance and
Operations functions.
Requirements
Previous functional experience with Oracle 11i Manufacturing and OM
modules. Technical experience with RosettaNet standards and B2B support
and/or implementation. Understanding of the following Operations
functional areas and the implementation of business processes within
these areas with Oracle 11i modules:
* 8+ years experience
* 3-5 years functional experience with Oracle 11i modules: B2B,
WebPlan, Software Licensing, Purchasing
* Manufacturing processes and BOMs
* Planning and distribution
* Inventory Planning
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize,
estimate resource load, and proactively manage IT customer
expectations.
* SQL knowledge and understanding of underlying Oracle Applications
table structures.
* Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
* Must have the ability to interface and work with varying levels of
the organization, from users
Education:
BS, BA, or equivalent is required with a major degree in an Information
Technology curriculum a plus
