No you are not thinking correctly. As Klaus stated either way is correct,
but why would you want to sent the extra +UNZ' and +UNH' if you are sending
two different invoices to the same party. I would personally use the
stripped down example as follows below as you only need one communication
header and trailer for two messages in the same functional group for the
same party.

+BGM'
..... First INVOICE GOES HERE
+UNT'
+UNH'
+BGM'
..... Second INVOICE GOES HERE
+UNT'
+UNZ'
