You really have to look at the values of the BSN_01 to understand what is 
required.
The default was 00 - Original.  All ASNs had 00, and each partner had a 
different procedure to allow for ASN duplications, cancellations, etc..

Now, they are letting you use specific values.  They all mean something, which 
you can see from the following list:

>>00 Original
>>01 Cancellation
02 Add
03 Delete
04 Change
>>05 Replace
06 Confirmation
>>07 Duplicate
08 Status
10 Not Found
ad nauseum...

This change is to allow the cancellation & revisions of ASNs without other 
rules or communication.

In the future, you can get insight into what is required by understanding the 
actual values which are permissible.
