Kristy, I think most folks on the list will probably need more information than you've provided in order to give you any meaningful advice. For starters, what is your main need? Is it EDI, XML, business process management, or what?
Lacking any further details, I'll only say that GIS and Inovis (TLE) are quite different products. If you only want to do EDI, I would go with TLE because it is a much easier product to work with in that regard. GIS has a lot of features but IMHO it is over-engineered and sometimes buggy. OTOH, if you need extensive XML support in addition to (or instead of) EDI, business process management, or GS1, I would probably go with GIS.
