After my last post I took the initiative to go to my management to
discuss
what our policy is and should be about paid testing of EDI documents.

The short and sweet of it is, we won't do it. If a new trading partner
wants to test with real data, fine, but no fees for testing. We verify
documents sent this way are good, and you verify documents we send you.

Crescent has been using EDI for very well over a decade. I have maps
for
850s and 810s I haven't touched in years that work with new and old
partners. We use X12 versions from 2001 through 4030. I think many of you
can recite the rest of my message without me saying it.

I was just greeted with an email outlining some EDI mapping changes from
one of our customers. The changes don't bother me as much as them charging
me to test their new changes they want to implement.

I know this has been on the board before, but it still stinks. This time
the testing fee's are more expensive than the others. When is enough
enough.

 Thanks,
 Denise
