For the coded currency (eg in the CUX/C504/6345) you should use ISO 4217.

As ISO 4217 is updated with new currencies now and then, it's likely that
your tables are based on an old version.

I hope this helps.

Subject: [EDI-L] <Tech>EDIFACT Currency Codes and the Ubiquitous Euro

Somebody just sent me a test for an EDIFACT ORDERS transaction, which
included a CUX segment. CUX is where currency is defined, and they sent the
code EUR. They are in Finland, and Finland uses the Euro. But I checked my
tables for every EDIFACT version I have in house, up to D04B, and I couldn't
find EUR or any other code labeled Euro.

Does anybody have any insight into this?

Thanks in advance,
